PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure operational responsiveness of movement of a cam ring in a variable displacement vane pump.SOLUTION: In a variable displacement vane pump 100, a cam ring 4 is moved by the pressure of working fluid flowing into fluid pressure chambers 31 and 32 via fluid pressure passages 33 and 34. Concave guide portions 47 and 57 for guiding the working fluid flowing from or into the first fluid pressure chamber 31 and the second fluid pressure chamber 32 via the first fluid pressure passage 33 and the second fluid pressure passage 34 are formed by cutting the periphery of the cam ring 4. When the discharge capacity of the vane pump 100 is changed, the first fluid pressure passage 33 and the second fluid pressure passage 34 are prevented from being partially blocked by the moving cam ring 4. |
