POWER ALLOCATION IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

<p>Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate allocating power levels in a wireless communication network. A metric based upon spectral efficiency can be employed in connection with optimizing power allocation. Further, power for transmitters to utilize can be assigned as a function of time. Moreover, a single sub-carrier network and/or a multiple sub-carrier networks can leverage one or more power allocation schemes.</p>
