PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine lubricating device improving fuel consumption of an engine by ensuring sufficient oil pressure and sufficient oil flow rate even when the temperature of the engine is low and also heating oil to an appropriate operating temperature in a short time. SOLUTION: This engine lubricating device is provided with a refueling passage 20 communicated with the lubricating part of the engine, and an engine drive oil pump 10. The refueling passage 20 includes a communication passage 20A, a first diversion passage 22A branched from a branch point 22a and communicated with an oil jet injecting oil toward the back surface of the piston of an engine cylinder, a second diversion passage 22B branched from a branch point 22b and merged into the first diversion passage 22A, and a bypass passage 20B. Check valves 45, 46, 47 are respectively arranged in the first diversion passage, second diversion passage and bypass passage. An electric assist pump 50 is arranged between the branch point 22a and the branch point 22b, and is configured to act when the temperature of the engine is low. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
