BASKET TYPE SCREEN APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket type screen apparatus reducing a moisture content of a treating object by easily drying and recovering the dewatering object discharged from a screen. SOLUTION: The basket type screen apparatus has a basket type screen 1 with a peripheral wall upwardly spread, discharges supernatant liquor from screen mesh by rotating the basket type screen 1 at high speed, and discharges dewatered sludge from an upper end of the screen by centrifugal force, wherein a cyclone 2 is provided outside the basket type screen 1 for recovering the sludge discharged from the screen by swirling flow S of air.
