PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily miniaturize a connector while surely holding a terminal fitting connected to the other terminal. SOLUTION: A crimped contact 110 is inserted in the cavity 150 of a housing 140 from its tip side, and it is thereby pressed-in the cavity. A cover 160 is mounted to the housing 140 from the upper part to cover the rear of the cavity 150 and house a lead 130 together with the rear end side of the crimped contact 110. The crimped contact 110 is equipped with a locking protrusion 112 between a press-in part 114 and a base part 110a, and movement in the inserting direction is regulated by this locking protrusion 112. The locking protrusion 112 has a notch part 1121 opened in the direction crossing the inserting direction. The locking block 170 of the cover part 160 is engaged with the notch part 1121 to regulate movement in the pulling out direction of the crimped contact 110. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
