The device (1) has a light source (2) e.g. UV light source, for emitting curing light e.g. UV light, of a predetermined wavelength or a predetermined wavelength range. A retainer is partially permeable for the cured light and retains a resin mold body (20). The retainer has an elongate light conducting element (5) permeable for the curing light. The element has an emission section for emitting the curing light in multiple spatial directions, and is formed such that the emission section extends into a bulge or an inner chamber of the resin mold body retained by the retainer. An independent claim is also included for a method for curing a resin mold body.
