Method and device for adaptive control of the anti-skid regulation of a pneumatic braking assembly of a rail vehicle

The method involves preventing the blocking of wheels of a rail vehicle (1) during adverse adhesion conditions within a wheel-rail-contact (5). An increased relative skid sample of certain percentage is preset by a time-delayed activation of an actuator of an anti-skid controller (6), where the actual dominant adhesion conditions are determined. A Proportional integral derivative (PID)controller (9) is provided within the anti-skid controller. An independent claim is included for an electronic device for adaptive control of a pneumatic braking system of a rail vehicle.
