PURPOSE: A sludge dehydrating device is provided to improve the dehydration efficiency of the sludge, to save the dehydrating time and to preventing the filter of a filter plate from be damaged by giving a buffing action to the flowed in sludge. CONSTITUTION: The sludge dehydrating device comprises: a first, a second and a third valves(13, 14, 15) for opening and closing according to the progress of inflow of the sludge; a supplying pipe(1) having a low pressure pump(12) for inserting the sludge; a sludge compressing and discharging device(2) consisted of a frame(21), a filter plate(22), a filter plate compressing device(23), a cake displacing and washing device(24); a pressure increasing pipe(3) installed with a fourth valve for opening and closing according to the inflow of the sludge and a pressure pump(31) for inserting the sludge into the middle part with the pressure so as to increase the inflow pressure of the sludge.
