摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber-reinforced material having very high thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical characteristics as the whole molding material. SOLUTION: The pitch-based carbon fiber having an average diameter of 8-12μm and a fiber length of 20-500μm has spacing of a hexagonal plane of the pitch-based carbon fiber of 0.3365-0.3375 nm, a microcrystal size (Lc) in the crystal growth direction of 30-50 nm, and a microcrystal size (La) in the direction crossing to the fiber axis of 45-100 nm. The composite material having an ash content of≤0.1 wt.% and containing 10-500 vol.% pitch-based carbon fiber has a heat conductivity of at least 1 W/(m×K) in the thickness direction of the carbon fiber-reinforced composite material.
