PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detection device capable of saving space. SOLUTION: The collision detection device comprises a deformation member 11 to be deformed by the collision to an object, a flat sensor 20 having a flat coil 21 which is wound in a flat shape and bent and deformed as the deformation member 11 is deformed, processing circuits 30, 40 for generating the electric signal according to the self-inductance Ls of the flat coil 21, and a collision determination unit 50 to determine whether or not the deformation member 11 is collided with the object based on the change of the electric signal.
