PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding apparatus capable of consistently performing the MIG welding and the TIG welding. SOLUTION: The MIG current AIw runs so that a wire constantly forms an anode side with respect to a work to be welded, and has the waveform in which the MIG base current value AIwb and the MIG peak current value AIwp alternately appear. The TIG current BIw runs so that a TIG electrode constantly forms a cathode side with respect to the work, and has the waveform in which the TIG base current value BIwb and the TIG peak current value BIwp alternately appear. The period ta in which the MIG current AIw is the MIG peak current value AIwp, and the period tb in which the TIG current value BIw is the TIG peak current value BIwp are shifted to each other. In this constitution, the MIG arc and the TIG arc are not broken, the forces to be exerted on each other can be weakened, and the consistent welding can be performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
