A composition for improving skin condition, which contains extracts of Platycodon grandiflorum, Cynanchum wilfordii, and Phlomis umbrosa is provided to effectively treat skin aging and ensure the safe to body. A composition for improving skin condition comprises 0.10-80 weight% of extracts from Platycodon grandiflorum, Cynanchum wilfordii and Phlomis umbrosa or their mixture. The extracts of Platycodon grandiflorum, Cynanchum wilfordii and Phlomis umbrosa is isolated using water; hydrous or anhydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms(methanol, ethanol, propanol, and butanol); mixture solution of low alcohol and water; aceton; ethyl acetate; chloroform; 1,3-butyleneglycol; and butyl acetate. The cosmetic composition is used in a form of solution, suspension, emulsion, paste, gel, cream, lotion, powder, soap, surfactant-containing cleansing, oil, powder foundation, emulsion type foundation, wax type foundation, or spray type foundation.
