PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nephelometric process turbidimeter which is for measuring the turbidity of a liquid sample and offers reduced sample exchange time.SOLUTION: A nephelometric process turbidimeter (10) comprises: a transparent sample vial (20) and a separate vial head (30), which together define a sample space (18) for a liquid sample (19), the sample space (18) having a cylindrical lateral inner surface (22, 23); and a sample inlet port (40), through which the liquid sample flows into the sample space (18), and a sample outlet port (50) through which the liquid sample flows out from the sample space (18), both being located on the vial head (30). The sample inlet port (40) is located on the cylindrical surface (32) of the vial head (30) at a position radially closer to the sample vial (20) than the sample outlet port (50). The inlet port axis of the sample inlet port (40) is inclined relative to an inlet cross plane at an inclination angle of 10° to 80°, and is angled relative to a radius at a tangent angle of more than 15°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
