A touch screen and manufacturing method thereof, the touch screen comprising: a liquid crystal display layer (100), a touch sensing layer (200) and a panel protective layer (300) stacked sequentially from bottom to top, the touch sensing layer (200) comprising a light-filtering glass layer (201), a touch control circuit (202) and a middle glass layer (203), the touch control circuits (202) comprising a sensing circuit layer (202a) and drive circuit layer (202b)respectively disposed on two opposite surfaces of the middle glass layer (203). The manufacturing method of the touch screen reduces the weight and thickness of the touch screen by disposing the sensing circuit layer (202a) and drive circuit layer (202b) of the touch control circuit respectively on the two opposite surfaces of the middle glass layer, and the sensing circuit layer also receives a relatively lower interference from a TFT electrical field on a TFT array substrate, thus improving the touch control performance of the touch screen. |
