PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitization type solar battery to which asymmetric and bulky dye is applied and in which a high power generation efficiency can be easily maintained even under a low illuminance environment such as a general indoor living space.SOLUTION: In a dye-sensitization type solar battery, asymmetric ruthenium complex in which two thiocyanate groups and mutually different two bipyridine ligands are oriented to Ru metal is applied as photo-sensitization dye. An organic compound in which two carboxyl groups are oriented to a hydrocarbon group having linear chain saturated hydrocarbon of 1 to 3 in carbon number is applied as co-absorbent. A dye-sensitization type solar battery which is excellent in design can enhance the power generation efficiency under a low illuminance environment such as an indoor living space or the like, and contribute to enlargement of the applicable field.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
