PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: In a case where a medium cassette is moved in an attachment direction to be attached to a housing and a second state is detected by a sensor before a prescribed time elapses from detection of a first state by the sensor after movement of the medium cassette attached to the housing in a separation direction, image formation processing is performed by omitting output of medium setting facilitation information for setting medium type information on the medium attached to the medium cassette. In a case where the second state is detected after the prescribed time elapses from detection of the first state, image formation processing is performed after outputting the medium setting facilitation information. Consequently, when the medium cassette is attached/detached in order to confirm the type and attachment amount of the attached medium, the usability of the image formation apparatus can be improved by avoiding output of the medium setting facilitation information, and releasing a user from the inconvenience of performing an output termination operation and waiting for automatic termination of output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
