INSTRUMENT FOR SUPPRESSING DRUG CRAVING AND KIT FOR SUPPRESSING DRUG CRAVING

A kit (K) for suppressing drug craving which is used by connecting an instrument (1) for suppressing drug craving to a syringe (2). The instrument (1) for suppressing drug craving comprises a tubular housing (11), a bag (12) which is provided within the housing and contains a mimic blood (B), and a connecting member (13) by which the forefront of the syringe is connected and the syringe is communicated with the bag. When the syringe containing a mimic drug (M) is connected and the plunger is carried forward (mimic priming), the mimic drug (M) flows into the bag to inflate the bag (Fig. 2(b)). When the plunger (4) is carried backward in this state, the bag (12) deflates and thus the mimic blood (B) flows back from the bag (12) to the syringe (2) (flush back) (Fig. 2(c)). This instrument can be safely handled even by a person who is not a health professional or a patient with drug dependency. An effective therapy can be conducted by making a patient with drug dependency aware of simulated drug intake.
