A content searching method and a mobile communication terminal using the same are provided to search desired contents information, quickly by using an index table although the size of a contents database increases. A mobile communication terminal receives a contents search request(S21). A search screen of a control unit is indicated in a display unit(S22). A user inputs numeric data through an input box of the search screen (S23). An indexing unit extracts addresses corresponding to the corresponding numeric data(S25). The contents information corresponding to the addresses is extracted(S26).
