DATA INPUT METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC DEVICE CONTROL

PURPOSE:To supply graphic data to a computer in a simple and accurate way by reading a pattern having the processed surface scaled down and displayed in a prescribed ratio through a TV camera and storing the pattern into a memory after digitizing it. CONSTITUTION:The patterns 5 and 7 are displayed with their coated surfaces painted out in a fixed scale-down ratio and then photographed by an industrial TV camera 9. The read-out picture data is stored in a memory within a graphic image processor 10. A computer 12 reads the picture data out of the memory in the processor 10 and transfers it to a controller 4 of an automatic coating machine 1. The controller 4 controls a coating nozzle 2 for top and coating nozzle 3 for both sides based on said picture data.
