OPTICAL CONNECTOR FOR ASSEMBLING IN THE FIELD

An instant assembly type optical connector is provided to enable a user to accurately assemble the optical connector to an accurate position by forming a main line coupling member using a transparent material. A plug(200) is inserted into a housing(100). A ferrule main line is coupled with a ferrule(30). A ferrule holder is formed on a main line coupling member(300), which interconnects the ferrule main line with the optical cable main line. A fixing cap(400) elastically supports the main line coupling member and is fixed on the plug. A first fixing member is coupled with the fixing cap and presses a center portion of the main line coupling member in a direction perpendicular to a length direction. A second fixing member(700) encloses a portion of the first fixing member and an end portion of a main line arranging member and fixes the optical cable, which is protruded from the main line arranging member. The second fixing member includes first and second clips and a coupling member. A coupling member insertion hole and an optical cable insertion hole are formed on separation surfaces of the first and second clips, respectively, such that the insertion holes correspond to each other.
