PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that a user feels discomfort in sight of a finder image because shake correction operation is immediately terminated when shake correction ends and to solve such the problem that a time lag during release is varied due to variation of time necessary for centering to an approximate center of a shake correction optical system, which is performed immediately before exposure, in a shake correction camera based on conventional techniques.SOLUTION: When shake correction ends, the shake correction is continued for prescribed time and then a shake correction optical system is latched at an approximate center while reducing a gain of the shake correction with the lapse of time. During exposure, exposure start timing is indicated from a mounted camera body, and centering of the shake correction optical system before the exposure is performed according to the timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
