PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular pedal operating force detection device allowing easy disposition of an operating force detector at a proper position with respect to a transmission member, regarding the vehicular pedal operating force detection device for detecting operating force input in a pedal by the operating force detector.SOLUTION: A brake pedal device 1 includes: a brake pedal 20; a sub lever 25; a swing lever 40; and an operating force detector 50. When operating force is input in the brake pedal 20, the swing lever 40 is rotated with respect to the sub lever 25 and a detection shaft 55 of the operating force detector 50 is displaced so as to detect the operating force input in the brake pedal 20. The swing lever 40 includes a receiving section 41 and a regulation section 42. The operating force detector 50 is fixed to the sub lever 25 while bringing a housing 51 into contact with the regulation section 42 of the swing lever 40 in an operating force non-detection state in which the detection shaft 55 is located at a position where the operating force of the brake pedal 20 is not detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
