摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving an image display for reducing luminance unevenness among pixels.SOLUTION: The method for driving the image display aims to drive an image display having a plurality of pixel circuits, each of which includes a light emitting diode, a first conductive path connected to the light emitting diode and including a driving transistor that drives the light emitting diode, a capacitive element connected to the driving transistor, and a second conductive path connected to the light emitting diode and different from the first conductive path. The method includes: a voltage application step of applying a voltage higher than a threshold voltage of the driving transistor onto both terminals of the capacitive element; a charge accumulation step of accumulating charges in the light emitting diode by supplying charges so as to apply a reverse bias to the light emitting diode through the second conductive path; and setting step of setting the voltage applied to the terminals of the capacitive element to a threshold voltage of the driving transistor by electrically connecting the light emitting diode and the capacitive element and discharging the charges accumulated in the light emitting diode and the capacitive element.
