<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an influence that correction to an edge section and correction to those other than the edge section mutually have in correction for sharpening an image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor has: a correction means for correcting pixel data for composing the image to sharpen the image; a detection means for detecting color shown by the pixel data to be corrected; and a determination means for determining whether the pixel data to be corrected are those of an edge section fluctuating with a predetermined level or more between proximal pixels. The correction means corrects the pixel data to be corrected by a first correction parameter when the pixel data to be corrected are those of the edge section. When the pixel data to be corrected are not those of the edge section, the pixel data to be corrected are corrected by a second correction parameter decided based on the color shown by the pixel data to be corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
