According to a variety of embodiments of the present invention, the temperature control apparatus can comprise: an external temperature sensor to measure the temperature outside a vehicle; an internal temperature sensor to measure the temperature inside the vehicle; an input module to receive an input of a set temperature from a user; and a control module to set a target temperature change amount based on one or more among the temperature outside the vehicle, the temperature inside the vehicle, and the set temperature, to calculate the temperature change amount inside the vehicle on a preset cycle by using the temperature inside the vehicle, and to, when the temperature change amount inside the vehicle is the same as or lower than the target temperature change amount, determine that the temperature control is completed. The present invention is to provide a temperature control apparatus, which can reduce errors in the time point of determination due to the surrounding environment of the vehicle, the performance of the temperature adjusting device, or the like when determining the time point of temperature control completion of the vehicle, and a control method thereof. |
