Disclosed are a connector and a connecting assembly. The connector comprises a connector housing (20) and a connector body (10). The connector housing is provided with a cavity (201) for accommodating the connector body. The connector body is provided with a first limiter (101). A second limiter (202) is arranged within the cavity of the connector housing. The first limiter and the second limiter match with each other so as to enable quantitative floating of the connector body within the cavity of the connector housing. The existing technical problem of low reliability in assembling or applying communication products due to large assembly tolerances when assembling and mounting a plurality of connectors is solved.
