PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polypropylene film which has small unevenness of thickness of the film in a longitudinal direction and a width direction and is excellent in withstanding voltage characteristics and workability, and is also excellent in withstanding voltage characteristics even at high temperature because of having a stable high-temperature melting peak, when used as a dielectric for capacitor.SOLUTION: There is provided a biaxially oriented polypropylene film containing a polypropylene resin as a main component, where unevenness of thickness of the film in a longitudinal direction is 0-10% and unevenness of thickness of the film in a width direction is 0-10%, and the film has two or more melting peaks in a range of 158-180°C in DSC measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: None
