PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice communication system which realizes voice communication where uncomfortable noise is not outputted from a speaker and interruption of voices is hardly caused, even when the condition of a radio electric wave is not good in voice communication using a mobile terminal to which a radio data communication card is connected, and also to provide a voice communication method. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a communication card and a mobile terminal. The communication card receives encoded voice data, detects data transmission errors of the voice data, and transmits reception voice data obtained by adding data transmission error presence or non-presence information to the voice data, to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal corrects errors of the reception voice data in accordance with the data transmission error presence or non-presence information in the case of the presence of data transmission errors in the reception voice data and decodes the reception voice data.
