A method and an apparatus for providing customized contents by using a metadata tag are provided to extract information related to interest field of individual from individual blog or individual webpage and offer contents suitable for individual by storing extracted data in database. A mobile communications terminal(10) receives request contents matched with interest information including one of the classification of the request contents, the name of the request contents, and the request contents provider name. The mobile radio communications network wirelessly gives and takes data with the mobile communications terminal. The contents providing server provides the request contents to the mobile communications terminal. A contents index server stores contents index by indexing contents information including one of the type of the registration contents, data type of the registration contents and address of the registration contents providing server. An interest information register server makes individual information and interest information received from the mobile terminal. |
