PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness of acceleration after completion of coasting control.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a clutch control section 52 for controlling engagement/disengagement of a clutch 11; and a coasting control execution section 51 for making the clutch control section 52 perform control to disengage the clutch 11 and starting the coasting control by lowering engine speed to speed lower than speed that can secure hydraulic pressure enabling operation of the clutch 11 when a coasting control start condition is satisfied and for preforming control to make the clutch control section 52 engage the clutch and completing the coasting control by increasing the engine speed when a coasting control completion condition is satisfied. In the control to engage the clutch along with the completion of the coasting control, the clutch control section 52 performs control to engage the clutch 11 when the engine speed increases to speed higher than the speed that can secure the hydraulic pressure enabling the operation of the clutch 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
