A driving apparatus of an LCD is provided to reduce the number of pins of a connector, and the number of transfer lines of a cable for transfer of a reference gamma voltage by transferring a reference gamma voltage between two data boards using a reference gamma voltage transfer line formed at a reference gamma voltage transfer cable or a liquid crystal panel. A reference gamma voltage generator(116) generates a plurality of reference gamma voltages. A gamma buffer integrated circuit buffers and outputs at least one reference gamma voltage of the plurality of reference gamma voltages supplied from the reference gamma voltage generator. A plurality of data integrated circuits(110) includes the gamma buffer integrated circuit, and converts an input data signal to an analog image signal using the buffered plurality of reference gamma voltages, and supplies the analog image signal to a liquid crystal panel (103). A plurality of gate integrated circuits(106) supply a scan pulse to the liquid crystal panel. A first data board(120) supplies the buffered reference gamma voltage to the half of the plurality of data integrated circuits. A second data board(130) supplies the buffered reference gamma voltage to the remaining half of the plurality of data integrated circuits. A signal transfer member(140) transfers the buffered reference gamma voltage between the first and second data boards. |
