PURPOSE: A pendent type led lighting device is provided to increase illumination efficiency by emitting heat generated from the LED module effectively. CONSTITUTION: In the device, an opening is formed in a lamp cover(10). In the LED module, a plurality of LEDs are arranged on the bottom of a substrate as a mesh or radial shape. The heat sink(30) is placed inside the lamp cover and transmits heat generated from the LED module to a heat radiating unit. The heat radiating unit is contacted with the heat sink and radiates heat of the heat sink. An air pipe is placed inside the lamp cover at a diffusing plate. A lamp holding unit(60) has a wire for suspending a plate to the ceiling.
