The present invention relates to a case for an electric motor and a manufacturing method therefor, an electric motor with the case for an electric motor. The case for an electric motor of the present invention comprises: an inner case in which is formed a receiving space for a stator and a rotor; an outer case which is disposed spaced apart along the radial direction at the outside of the inner case and forms a fluid receiving space, both sides of which are opened such that the fluid can be contained between the inner case and the outer case; partition walls which are disposed spaced apart from each other along the circumferential direction of the inner case with one side connected to the inner case and the other side connected to the outer case between the inner case and the outer case, thereby partitioning the fluid receiving space into a plurality of partial receiving spaces; and a fluid communication part which forms a cooling fluid flow passage in which the fluid is moved by blocking up both sides of the fluid receiving space, and at the same time, by making the plurality of partial receiving spaces be in fluid communication with each other. Thus, by increasing the heat transfer area of a cooling fluid, it is possible to improve the cooling performance. |
