PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element containing a light-emitting material, which achieves high light emission efficiency.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes a polymer material and a guest material. The polymer material includes at least a first polymer chain and a second polymer chain. The guest material has a function capable of exhibiting fluorescence or a function converting triplet excitation energy into light emission. The first polymer chain and the second polymer chain each include a first skeleton, a second skeleton, and a third skeleton, the first skeleton and the second skeleton being bonded to each other through the third skeleton. The first skeleton includes at least one of a π-electron rich heteroaromatic skeleton and an aromatic amine skeleton, and the second skeleton includes a π-electron deficient heteroaromatic skeleton. The first polymer chain and the second polymer chain have a function of forming an excited complex with the first polymer chain and the second polymer chain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
