<p>A system and a method for controlling automatic operation of an air conditioner are provided to automatically turn off the power of the air conditioner when no indoor activities are sensed for saving power consumption. A system for controlling automatic operation of an air conditioner includes an activity sensing part(40) having a sensor for sensing and measuring an activity amount in a place, in which the air conditioner is installed. A remote controller receiving part(60) receives control signals input from a remote controller. A control part(10) controls power-on/off of the air conditioner automatically according to the setting thereof by determining the activity amount supplied from the activity sensing part.</p> |
