摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sea bottom placer dredger capable of mining with a lesser amount of energy and at a low cost.SOLUTION: A sea bottom placer dredger has a high-pressure hydrogen tank 14 installed on a ship body 11, for storing high-pressure hydrogen gas. The sea bottom placer dredger also has an excavator lifting part 21 to be lifted/lowered between the ship body 11 and a sea bottom 1, the excavator lifting part being connected to the high-pressure hydrogen tank 14 for receiving hydrogen gas from the high-pressure hydrogen tank 14 and discharging hydrogen gas into the high-pressure hydrogen tank 14. The excavator lifting part 21 has an opening 31a through which seawater may get in/out, and also includes a seawater storage room 31 for storing seawater, a hydrogen storage room 32 adjacent to the seawater storage room 31 for storing hydrogen gas from the high-pressure hydrogen tank 14, an expansive partitioning membrane 33 partitioning between the seawater storage room 31 and the hydrogen storage room 32, excavation means 35 for excavating the sea bottom 1, and mining means 36 for recovering excavated objects by the excavation means 35 and taking the excavated objects into the seawater storage room 31 from the opening 31a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
