The method involves identifying pharmaceutical products (10) during a storage process with respect to the kind of product. The products are stored at a stock storage by a handling device (5). A supply data set (13) is entered to a computer (7) of a storage system before or during the storage process, and has data concerning the products. The set contains an expiry date, which is assigned to the identified product during storage process. An independent claim is also included for a storage system for storing packed pharmaceutical products in dispensaries.
