PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric pull-down device which has a simpler configuration than the prior art and can be easily installed on a flat knitting machine.SOLUTION: A knitted fabric pull-down device 100 includes: a pair of base parts 1; guide plates 2 each provided at a position which is above each base part 1 and faces a knitted fabric passage route 101; and a capture/pull-down mechanism 3 which captures a knitted fabric hanging down to a position facing the guide plates 2 and pulls the knitted fabric downward. In the knitted fabric pull-down device 100, the base parts 1 are fixed on a flat knitting machine. In addition, the knitted fabric pull-down device 100 includes an opening/closing mechanism 4 which displaces at least part of each guide plate 2 between a closed position close to the knitted fabric passage route 101 and an open position further separated from the knitted fabric passage route 101 than the closed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
