<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image data decoded from encoded data from being reproduced by specifying the encoded data that is encoded when a video signal is asynchronously switched without using excess elements. <P>SOLUTION: A decoding part 3 includes a network interface part 21, a stream separating part 23, a video stream analyzing part 25, an internal memory 27, a video decoding part 29, a memory control part 31, a memory 33, a selector 35, and a video signal generating part 37, wherein the video stream analyzing part 25 calculates the period of time data described in the header of a PES packet formed by the stream separating part 23. Consequently, encoded data corresponding to time data whose period is disturbed is specified as data obtained by encoding a part obtained when a video signal is asynchronously switched, and image data is reproduced whose reproduction sequence is ahead of the image data by one instead of the image data decoded from the encoded data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
