PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector that simplifies assembling of a shield housing. SOLUTION: An insulating body 1, the center terminal 2, and the shield housing 3 are included, the center terminal has a shaft with the front end and the rear end, by forming a columnar contact part in the front end contact part of the shaft, and fitting it into the insulating body by insert molding, firm bonding is achieved, and the rear end of the shaft has a fixed part to pinch a cable. The shield housing includes a flat plate part, the body part to connect one end of the flat plate part, and a pinching part to connect the other end. As for the body part, a pair of pinching arms are arranged, those pinching arms firmly pinch the insulating body, a mutually lateral standing fixed-piece is arranged at the hedge of the bottom part of the pinching arms. On both sides of the rear end of the flat plate part, a side part arm is arranged, the side part arm and the fixed part are bent in an intended direction, and the insulating body is pinched in it firmly.
