摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device that can remove a restriction of a mounting angle with respect to a rotor.SOLUTION: An axis parallel with one direction of an accommodation part 211 is defined as an accommodation axis 212, a straight line vertical to the accommodation axis 212 is defined as a virtual straight line 213, and a face vertical to the virtual straight line 213 is defined as a vertical face 214. Each of magnetic poles 221, 223 is arranged so that the virtual line 213 passes through. Further, one face 241 of a sensor chip 230 is inclined with respect to the vertical face 214. Furthermore, a center position 242 of one face 241 in a vertical direction vertical to the virtual straight line 213 is arranged to come close to a first magnetic pole 221 from the center position of each of magnetic poles 221 and 223 of the virtual straight line 213. Thus, a magnetic flux vertically crosses one face 241 of the sensor chip 230, and thereby a change in resistance value is hard to become small. Further, even if a rotor 100 rotates in any direction, a direction of the magnetic flux greatly changes, and thus, a sufficient change in resistance value can be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
