PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording disk control information supporting high double write speed. SOLUTION: In a write-once optical disk having at least one recording layer, write strategy information is recorded in the disk control information, and, as a result, standardized disk control information can be applied uniformly to data recording and reproducing. At least one item of disk information is recorded in a management domain as the disk control information.
