The method for purification and storage of hydrogen (H 2) useful for electrical devices and vehicles operated by fuel cell, comprises circulating a filter unit (1) with hydrogen in storage device (S) under simultaneous adsorption of pollutants from hydrogen in the filter unit, storing the purified hydrogen in a solid storage device (2) and circulating the filter unit with purified hydrogen in a withdrawal device (E) during withdrawing the purified hydrogen (H 2 g) from the solid storage device and desorption of the pollutants in the cleaned hydrogen deposited in the filter unit. The method for purification and storage of hydrogen (H 2) useful for electrical devices and vehicles operated by fuel cell, comprises circulating a filter unit (1) with hydrogen in storage device (S) under simultaneous adsorption of pollutants from hydrogen in the filter unit, storing the purified hydrogen in a solid storage device (2) and circulating the filter unit with purified hydrogen in a withdrawal device (E) during withdrawing the purified hydrogen (H 2 g) from the solid storage device and desorption of the pollutants in the cleaned hydrogen deposited in the filter unit. Oxygen, ammonia, methane, nitrogen, sulfur compounds, water, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and/or carbon dioxide are adsorbed from the hydrogen as pollutants. The adsorption and desorption of the pollutants are carried out in several steps. The fuel cell (3) for the propulsion of vehicle is impinged with the hydrogen extracted from the solid storage device and guided through the filter unit. An independent claim is included for a device for the purification and storage of hydrogen. |
