PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system that can construct an optimum communication environment for both of a master unit and a slave unit.SOLUTION: A wireless LAN system acquires the status of wireless signals emitted from a wireless LAN slave unit every access point around the wireless LAN slave unit, and performs channel congestion degree calculation processing of summing the signal intensity level values corresponding to the signal intensities of the wireless signals of the access points around the wireless LAN master unit and the signal intensity level values corresponding to wireless signals of the access points around the wireless LAN slave unit with respect to each wireless channel, and calculating the channel congestion degree for calculating the congestion degree of each channel. A wireless channel having the lowest degree of congestion is set as a wireless channel to be used for the communication between the wireless LAN master unit and the wireless LAN slave unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
