PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To differently use an oscillation circuit using an external oscillator mounted on a semiconductor device and a self-excited oscillation circuit as one product kind while reducing the number of terminals. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device 20 is provided with a bias detection circuit 1, an oscillation circuit 2, an oscillation circuit 3, an inverter INV1, an inverter INV2, a closed inverter CINV1, a closed inverter CINV2 and terminals Pad1 to 3. When a clock signal CLK of high precision generated from the oscillation circuit 2 is used, an external terminal OPad3 provided at an external low potential side power source Vss side is connected to an external terminal OPad 1. On the other hand, when a clock signal CLK of comparative low current consumption generated from the oscillation circuit 3 being a self-excited oscillation circuit is used, an external terminal OPad2 provided at an external high potential side power source Vdd side is connected to the external terminal OPad 1 through a resistor R1.
