PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic shield member which effectively shields against magnet. SOLUTION: Knitted magnetic shield member 4 is formed by flat weaving practically eliminating clearance by using one ribbon-shaped Co basis amorphous alloy base material 3 like a warp thread, and using the other ribbon-shaped Co basis amorphous alloy base material 3 like a weft thread. A magnetic shield member is formed by using the Co basis amorphous alloy base material 3 having coercive force (Hc) of 0.4 A/m or less and saturation megnetostriction constant of at most the minus 6th power of 10, and superposing it in a plurality of sheets in a plate thickness direction.
