A cartridge for holding an optical device to an inner part of a laser processing head is provided to reduce contamination of the optical device when drawing out an insert from a housing of the cartridge or inserting the insert into the housing. In a cartridge(10) for holding an optical device(16) to an inner part of a laser processing head for processing a workpiece using a laser beam, the cartridge comprises: a housing(12) including an opening(24) for a passage of an optical path(L) and a housing space(40) for the optical device, the optical path being guided to two side faces(18,20) facing each other through a laser processing device; and an insert(14) including a supporting member(38) for the optical device that can be inserted into the housing space of the housing to hold the optical device into the optical path, wherein the insert is mounted on the housing so that the insert is freely floated within the space of the housing by guiding the insert from the outside of the housing space provided in the housing. |
