An electric fan is provided to prevent access of a user to a guard net by ringing an alarm bell and to prevent the user being injured by the fan by cutting off the power source. A safe electric fan comprises a guard net putting on a fan blade, a main body including a guard net, a sensor installed in the guard net in order to detect the temperature of human being body, an alerter generating the warning tone in sensor with the delivered signal, and a switch cutting off the power source of the electric fan when the warning tone rings.
