PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent light source device capable of highly efficiently radiating fluorescence and configuring a compact device in a simple structure.SOLUTION: The fluorescent light source device comprises: an excitation light emission section for emitting excitation light; a fluorescent plate receiving excitation light and radiating fluorescent light; and an optical system for irradiating a fluorescence emission surface of the fluorescent plate with the excitation light from the excitation light emission section. The optical system includes: a mirror system including a first mirror member that converts a travel direction of the excitation light to be emitted from the excitation light emission section, and a second mirror member that reflects the excitation light from the first mirror member toward the fluorescent plate and transmits the fluoresce from the fluorescent plate; and a lens system that irradiates the fluorescent plate with the excitation light from the second mirror member and collimates the fluorescence radiated from the fluorescent plate. A long-focus lens is disposed between the first mirror member and the second member so that a composite focus position thereof with the lens system is located near the fluorescence emission surface of the fluorescent plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
