PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for correcting the variation of the appearance frequency of the brightness of pixels due to the granular noise of a film, and for accurately performing various processing by using such a histogram as automatic negative/positive determination or automatic density adjustment and automatic frame detection. SOLUTION: A first histogram preparation part 17 prepares a first histogram expressing the appearance frequency of the brightness of pixels from acquired image data. A second histogram preparation part 18 prepares a second histogram by correcting the variation of the appearance frequency of the brightness of pixels due to the granular noise of a film based on the first histogram data acquired from the first histogram preparation part 17.
